TriathloN & SINGLE SPORT GROUP TRAINING

General Information: Park/train locations will alternate between Santa Cruz  and Monterey  locations. All workouts will be in compliance with County Health Orders at all times. Every effort will be made to adhere to the dates listed below. Any changes will be noted in the weekly newsletter and shared on the cmsbr Facebook page as soon as is possible to facilitate the required changes.  Each participant will receive a group specific calendar & weekly newsletter for each training group. 

Start Strong 

January 4 - February 24  

$75

These 45 minute sessions will help you gain core strength, balance and sport specific muscular strength. Tuesday/Thursday at the Amaris Home. Limited to 6 athletes for the 6 am workout and 6 athletes for the 6 pm workout. 8 sessions total.


Spring Tri 2022 

week of February 21 - April 3 

$130 Sprint      $150 Olympic
7 Sunday coached live brick workouts. Any level athlete. Train for Sprint or Olympic distance triathlon, duathlon, or create a relay. Weekday single sport workouts will be calendared.


hills and valleys - cycle training March 24 - April 28. 

$60 

This group will focus on hill climbing, descending, cycling speed, and other skills needed by the group. If you want to increase your speed and comfort on the bike - join us for 6 - Thursday 6 PM workouts.


Strawberry Fields 

March 26 - May 7    

 $120 

The 30 & 60 mile ride is scheduled for Sunday, May15. If you are registered and need a group to keep you moving then join us. We will start with 6 & 25 mile rides, safely adding mileage each week. You must be hydration and nutrition self-sufficient with a safe and sturdy bike. 7 Saturday 8 am rides.


Open Water Swim Series(OWSS) week of May 23 - July 3 .   

 $150
3 - Educational Clinics, 6 Thursday Skills Sessions, and 6 Sunday Endurance Swims will be coached live. All swim activities at Cowell’s Beach.

WALk/Run GROUP TRAINING

All workouts will be in compliance with County Health Orders at all times. Every effort will be made to adhere to the dates listed below. Any changes will be noted in the weekly newsletter and shared on the cmsbr Facebook page as soon as is possible to facilitate the required changes.  Each participant will receive a group specific calendar and weekly newsletter for each training group.


Kick Start 

week of January 3 - February 19 

$91 

All 7 Saturday workouts will be coached live. Workouts are a time-based combination of speed and endurance.


Spring Race Extension 5K/10K February 26 - March 12 

$30 

3 coached live Saturday workouts based on your race distance. You must register separately for your race! If you are looking forward to She is Beautiful Santa Cruz or any Spring 5K/10K race this group is for you!


Cheetah 

April 5 - May 10 

$60 

Daylight Savings Time returns and we can start working on our speed. All 6 workouts on Tuesdays at 6 pm are coached live in this training .


Journey Through Summer 

week of June 6 - July 19 

$117 

3 Tuesday and 6 Saturday coached live workouts. Be ready for our local favorite - Wharf To Wharf (6 miles) or any Summer 5K/10K race.

EDUCATIONAL CLINICS

Whether you are new to training or an experienced athlete you can benefit from timely and up-to-date  information.    


I offer Education Clinics so you can train smarter.    Hydration/Nutrition, Injury Prevention, Run/Walk Form, Habit Changing, Transition Tips & Tricks, and Race Readiness are a few of the clinics I provide.


Most of the clinics coincide with group training cycles.   Additionally, I am happy to offer a clinic for you or your group at anytime.
