Bike Basics
Jan. 12 - Feb. 16 $90
If you have been off the bike for a while or have a “new” bike this is your group. We will cover bike safety skills, riding skills, and some basic maintenance. 6 Sunday 9 am, 45-60 minute skill sessions all starting at Cabrillo College in Soquel. No experience necessary.
Club Rides - Spring
Feb. 23 - Mar.30 $210
This group will get you ready for a Grand Fondo or any multi-day ride. We will start with a 15 mile ride, safely adding mileage each week.You must be hydration & nutrition self-sufficient with a safe & sturdy bike. Meet-Up rides will be offered the 6 weeks prior to get you to the 15 mile starting point.
6 Suday 8 am rides,1 - 4 hours depending on mileage.
Club Rides - Fall
Aug. 17- Sep. 22 $210
Be ready for any Fall group ride or just join us and spin some miles. 6 Sunday 7:30 am rides, 1-6 hours depending on mileage. The Morro Bay Lighthouse Ride (42/65 /75 miles) is a great Fall ride that is popular with this club!

General Information: Park/train locations will alternate between Santa Cruz, Watsonville, and Monterey locations. Every effort will be made to follow the dates listed below. Any changes will be noted in club updates, training group newsletters, and shared on the cmsbr Facebook page as soon as is possible to facilitate changes. Each participant will receive a group specific calendar & newsletter for each training group.
Kick Start Jan. 18 - March 1 $98
7 Saturday 9 am 1-2 hour workouts. Each workout is a time-based combination of speed and endurance activities. You will be ready to run/walk any Spring 5K/10K
Cheetah March 8 - April 19 $84
A chance to increase your speed this year. 7 Saturday 8 am 30-45 minute workouts will help you strengthen your cardiovascular system. Stay for the optional “tour walks” after the workout. No
experience required - just the desire to run/walk faster!
Journey Thru Summer June 7 - July 22 $126
3 Tuesday 6 PM 45-60 minute workouts and 6 Saturday 8 am 1-2 hour workouts will have you ready for our local favorite - Wharf To Wharf or any summer 5K/10K.
Stay The Course
Aug. 12 - Sept. 21 $126
Take this opportunity to keep moving through late summer and early fall. 3 Tuesday 6 PM 45-60 minute workouts and 6 Saturday 8 am 1-2 hour workouts will have you ready for Little Wharf or any Fall5K/10K .
Turkey Trot Training Oct. 21 - Nov. 22 $98
This Fall Favorite group will workout 2 Tuesdays @ 6 PM (45-60 minutes) and 5 Saturdays @ 8 am (1-2 hours). You will be ready for any Turkey, Santa, Jingle, or Holiday themed race.

Club Swims - Fall July 3 - Aug. 21 $121
8 Thursday 6 PM swims and 3 Sunday 8 am swims, each 45 minutes or more. There is no instruction in this series. It is a great opportunity to stay in the Open Water and swim with friends. All swim activities at Cowell’s Beach. Must have Open Water swim gear and be able to swim 100 yards unassisted.

Multi-Sport Training
70.3 Training $150/month
Offered only with an individual calendar option. Depending on your fitness and experience you will need 4 - 6 months of training. Email Coach Melani through the contact option on this site and start the process.
Group Training
June 8 - August 10 Sprint $210 Olympic $280
Sprint and Olympic distance training groups for triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, and aquathlon, either as a single competitor or part of a relay. Main workout day is 8 am Sunday, 7 brick workout sessions, 1-3 hours depending on distance, with additional single sport workouts calendared during the week, some with the group and some on your own. No experience necessary. You will be ready for Summer Triathlons both near and far!
